Does anybody know if cobb plans on releasing the ams stage 2 ots map for the 2014 evo x? my understanding that the 2010+ map would work but it won't let me load it from the access port to the car.

 

With your parts it seems like you should just spring for a proper protune?

 

AMS as their own tune for their intake, go on their website to check it out.

Agreed. You shelled all that money out for nice mods, but you want to waste them on an OTS map? That's a crime.

Go spend the few extra bucks and get yourself a real tune. OTS isn't going to do those expensive AMS mods justice, regardless of what they tell you.

If you live in MD, I would suggest going up to see Chad at CBRD. He will set you up with an awesome tune.

here you go you have STX 300 and the STX 400. They can provide the tune even if you don't have all the parts required, just contact them.

 

Yeah you also have to pay ams $495 for a OTS map no thanks. I plan on just getting rid of this thing asap. Also you need all the AMS parts for the STX400 package to run that map.

We charge 425.00 for the STX400 flash which would work with your modifications as long as you have the AMS intake on the car. This is a custom flash for the Cobb AccessPort that we have developed in house with our bolt on parts seen here:

Lolz just returned my AP this morning. I'm sure it's great it you have all Cobb products!

 

The Cobb AccessPort works great and can be custom tuned to work with any modifications, not just Cobb products. You can have a pro-tune done as well by any of the authorized pro-tuners if none of the OTS maps fit your application.

 

can i use stx400 if i dont have all ams product but similiar with other brands?

 

You can use the STX400 flash with other similar products for the intercooler, intercooler piping, and the exhaust but you will have to have the AMS intake for it to work properly.
