problems starting while on a slanted driveway
Hey everyone i have a 2015 gsr with 1000 miles and i already had an issue this morning after parking my car on a very steep slope driveway. When i tried starting it it turned over but stalled out right away. When i started it the second time it started but i was turning it over for about a good 5 seconds before it puttered to start.
Ive driven my car until the gas gauge had nothing left on it and mine would start up fine on a flat surface. You may want to check your fuel relay and ensure the fuel regulator hose is still connected. Cant imagine it being to much since its a '15 with less than 1500 miles.
I had your exact problem in my 11 MR. I couldn't seem to get her started so I called Mitsu. They said that there can be fuel starvation issues when trying to start your Evo or Ralliart on a steep incline.
While trying to start the car, pump the gas pedal. Apparently this helps provide fuel to the engine. It was the only thing that got my car started.
