Long Long Long story short.

I just had a new AMS shortblock put in my x. and had a new fuel system as well including pump, cleaned lines, housing, ID 1000 and plug and play adapters, aem fuel regulator.

The car is going Lean on tip in !!!! and right as you take off from a stop!!

as you go into tip in it goes from normal 14.8-15.2 and then flashes 17.2 ish and then drops down to 12 is and pulls through the gear.

As I take off from a stop I also SOMTIMES go full lean for a split second before dropping back down to normal.

the car is on a break in tune and the tuner said that there is nothing in the tune that should be causing that. he said it must be something else mechanical or physically causing this.

Also I had this issue before my motor was replaced. just a lot worse.


ANY IDEAS ARE WELCOME! Again everything is basically new under the hood

 

What kind of mods are on it other than the short block? my only guess would be between pump and injectors. either pump isnt enough or injectors arnt. Are you able to monitor fuel pressure?

 

DW65c with ID1000cc. Yes, AEM fuel regulator car holds base pressure at 41 and rises on a 1 to 1 ratio after boost.
