Evo X Where to tune!

So the time has finally come for my first tune
Dropped off the car to get my full exhaust put on today, then once i get it im gonna throw on my intake and UICP and take it for a tune. But before that im stuck on who to take my car to get tuned. Ive crossed Road Race and 5150 off my list and have broken it down to either Turbo Joe , Church or KTM. I know KTM does great work and haven't heard bad about them but alot of people lately have been saying go with Turbo Joe or Church. Wanted to see if anyone has any experience with them and how reliable of tuners they are. My goal is reliability THEN power. Let me know what yall think!

Why on earth would you cross off 5150 from your list...

I've never heard about "Turbo Joe" so I can't really say

Church...are you seriously considering them over 5150 or RRE?

I suggest you take your Evo to a reputable shop that specializes on Evos (mostly at least)

You're fortunate to be residing in Los Angeles where we have one of the best (if not the best) tuners for Evos...

I recommend either 5150 or KTM (if it's closer to you)

Don't risk it by going to other "tuners" and end up with a ****ty tune and potentially blow up your car

Well RRE is off my list because my older brother, cousin and close friend have All had their X's motors blown from there. I got nothing against 5150 ive heard they do great work but take long. My brothers car has been being rebuilt at 5150 since he blew his motor for the past year. KTM is closer to me and have been there several times for maintenance and have gotten to know Khiem as well and they seem like my #1 go to right now. Never heard anyones first hand experience with Turbo Joe but a lot of people say hes a great reliable tuner but want to know more before deciding with him.

Since KTM is close to you, go with them. If you're willing to wait a bit longer, go with 5150! Worth the wait dude...

Good luck!

5150 would be at the top of my list of those tuners, without a doubt. KTM would be the next best. Turbo Joe? Pass.

Shawn Church has done all of our Hondas and one Evo. personally, i've had good experiences with him. I go through Jay @ Boosted Tuning. you can do a search here to check his work, unless you are wanting to stay local.
