Cobb Stage 3 threw CEL & P0830 & P0170
This past weekend I finally broke down and did the full cobb Stage 3 package after running the stage 1 for a year.
was running back and forth to work for the past couple days, only about 4 miles from my house, hadn't gone over 40 miles and hour much until today. Got up to high way speeds for a bit and threw the CEL code. Got home checked and used the access port to pull and clear the codes, listed three Codes, the ECU with no additional info (couldn't tell if this was a folder for the codes or a code itself?) then indented from that the codes P0830 & P0170. I did some looking, the P0171 seems to be possibly resulting from the tune and i am running the off the shelf tune for now, as i'm in kentucky i'd planed on running this tune for some time without a decent tuner in sight. Thinking this might also be an issue with something in the exhaust not being lined up quiet right, can smell a substantial amount of gas fumes while coming to a stop light and appears with windows up or down... gonna check that first, but other than that i'm not sure besides the tune what else it could be, any other ideas would be appreciated. As for the P0170 i searched and found that its to do with the clutch pedal switch A?, which i don't understand why these two codes would come up together? wasn't rough on the car while driving today, clutch never slipped and have been running a competition clutch for a over a year now... cleared the codes, most concerned about the clutch code as i'm not sure why that would come up like that... any other ideas would be greatly appreciated, all vacuum lines and things all seem to be normal, could be dirty MAF but was very careful with it, so i'm doubtful...

threw the same two codes coming home from dinner... out of curiosity does any one know what the (Bank 1) portion of the lean 0170 code means? did a recheck of all the lines no leaks that are obvious. it appears as if the IDC is very quick to max out, still feel like this is an exhaust leak, even though its not audibly leaking, does this sound like i'm on the right path? Only other option i think would be a magically gone bad O2 sensor... ?
what do your short term and long term fuel trims look like? P0170 google search says it is too lean, and that the ECU cannot adjust the trims to reach stoich mixture.
If your trims are maxed in either direction that would make sense.
But if you just reflashed it will reset them...

well for prosperity it appears as if i might of had the cat pipe reversed as in both O2 sensors where in line rather than one before and one after..... embarrassing yes i know...but perhaps if someone else experiences this and this helps than its worth owning up to the mistake (and as a side note, yes the cobb exhaust cat pipe will fit in all configurations so make sure the O2 sensor is pointing out towards the passanger side, and not towards the driver, and obviously make sure the cat is closer to the downpipe rather than the reverse which i had for a day or two)... the switch for the clutch i'm going to ignore for now as it has zero to do with the function of the clutch and appears to be only for cruise and starting (which neither are an issue for now).
