Help! AMS STX500

I'm looking to upgrade my EvoX to around 500 hp.
Currently it has AMS intake, BOV and intercooler in addition to Greddy exhaust.

Was looking at the AMS STX500 system which includes the below:
GTX Billet wheel, ball bearing 30R Turbo

AMS Widemouth Downpipe

AMS 3” Titanium Race Series CatBack Exhaust

AMS 3” Stainless Steel Test Pipe

AMS Performance Intake System

AMS Front Mount Intercooler Kit

AMS Upper Intercooler Pipe

AMS 3″ STX500 Compressor Inlet Elbow

DeatschWerks DW65c Fuel Pump

Injector Dynamics 1000cc Fuel Injectors

Grimspeed Boost Control Solenoid

Cobb AccessPort

AMS STX500 ECU Flash

My questions are:

Do u guys have experience with it, if not what arr ur thoughts

I'm conservative as This is my daily ride, do u expect any problems that i might have or face.
What could be abetter alternative.
Help me guys!

The mods list you listed should get you there. That's a solid list.

I just did 500WHP on my Evo X. Here is the build thread. This is through the SST trans as well.

Yeah, As long as the tune is good it should be safe. I mean the more hp you put to it the bigger the risk but this should be within the safe range.

very nice, how much boost were you running on this run? Im thinking to go with the STX500 bolt on turbo.

Pulling the trigger! STX500

Yo is this kit worth it? Totally down if I can get some coolio EVO heads to help a ninja out! I’ve had a bone stick EVO X since 2012. Bone stock. I love my car and wanna do her right. I was so close this year to getting a GTR or a camaro ZL1 1LE, but I’m never getting rid of my baby. It’s time to get her started. What do you fellas, and ladies suggest I do? I NEED help, so much I’m willing to throwdown in your town and exchange ideas on cars and lunch on me! I’ve got a Decent enough cash flow and can make things happen quickly enough. Any insight that you can spit to me, I welcome it with open arms. I wanna find the reasons why I bought this car. I love my car, she deserves so much more.

Well i I was thinking of getting that gTX 500. Would that be a good start? Feel free to hit me up with knowledge. Follow me

Mahalo ahead of time for any responses 🤙🏽❤️

I've been running the STX300 tune for a while now and it's been great. The one cuveat is that if you change something or are in different environment (high alt, cold, hot, humid..etc) your tune is locked and good luck getting a response from AMS for a retune which would be at least $400 USD. I'm going through that right now and even though the road tune was a great experience, the after care is leaving something to be desired.

Not slagging AMS but it's why I just paid $200 CAD to take the EFI test so I can have Accesstuner to learn and do changes myself.

Cheers
Stephen
