The GTX3071R is a better street turbo than the GTX3076R.

The 3076R will have more top end but will sacrifice some low end compared to the 3071R.

The turbo GT3071R Bolt-on Dual Ball Bearing Twin-scroll an estimated 475 HP better than AMS ? STX500 (Garrett GTX30R ) Because AMS says that its turbo is upgraded turbo id but it does not say how. is it 500+ horsepower on 93 octane and 650 horsepower capable on race fuel, E85 HP?? is it true?

Why not consider a MHI 18k. Designed by forced performance, made by Mitshbishi

650 would be a stretch imo. Possible if maxed out but for 650hp on e85 I'd opt for the gtx3582r.

The AMS STX500 package uses the Garrett GTX3071R. The GT3071R is old wheel tech and laggy. I wouldn't even touch it.

The GTX3076R can do 500whp+ no problem on E85.

The GTX3071R can hit 500whp on E85 with good supporting mods. (cams, etc)

The MHI 18k can also hit 500whp on E85 with good supporting mods. (cams, etc)

The MHI 18k and GTX3071R are very comparable turbos, with the GTX3071R supporting more top end power and the MHI 18k supporting faster spool. They both have very comparable power curves however.

Some examples:

MR, stock cams, sleeved block, GTX3076R, E13 to E76:

GSR, stock cams, stock motor, GTX3071R, E10 to E60:

MR, stock cams, stock motor, MHI 18K, E10 to E79:

The GTX3076R can do 500whp+ no problem on E85.The turbo that uses AMS is Garrett GTX30R and the one that you recommend me is The GTX3076R? I want to be sure because those turbos are expensive and I want to be sure of which one is the best for my FE. I've been told that this turbo GTX3576R dual ball bearing is also better or the same? THANKS

Depends on your goals. If you are planning on a nice street car on 93 I would recommend the GTX3071R, Blouch Dominator 2.0XT or MHI 18k.

The blouch is my favorite street turbo for the stock motor, E85, and the price.

All three have good response on the street, with the MHI 18k spooling the best but has the lower potential out of the three.

If you plan on e85, all of them will be awesome, with the blouch and the GTX3071 having comparable peak power potential.

That's some insights worth the weight of gold. How would you compare 7163 to 3071R and 18K? Is the supposed better(?) spool of 7163 worth it when comparing to the other two highly acclaimed turbos?
