I would do an MHI 18k over either of those.

But, I would choose the Blouch over the AMS. The AMS is just a gtx3076r with compressor and turbine housing that make it bolt-on for the X...

Agreed with above. The 18K is one of the best stock location turbos we have, but of the two you mention I would go with the Blouch as well.

I'm running the bbx full, which is a dominator 2.0 (JB) and made 500 whp on corn. The xtr will give you better response and a better performing turbo over all.

My question: why not the 3.0 xtr?

I want to make 460-470 on 93... Seems like the gtx3076r can produce that...i know they will all spool in the 4k range however i want the quickest spooling turbo that can produce this kind of power. The 3.0xtr is ball bearing? I saw it listed as journal bearing.. And what kind of power and spool up is it capable of? Ive got all supporting mods and open dump with full race manifold..

Those numbers are E85 numbers on that turbo.

Blouch Dom 2.0 XTR is ball bearing. Dom 2.0 XT is journal bearing.

Ball bearing won't really make it spool much faster, it's more for transient response.

The Dom 2.0 XT/R will produce more power than the MHI 18K.

The Dom 2.0 is basically a 30R in a OEM housing.

All depends on the tune and the dyno.

I'd say that you would be at the absolute limit of 93 for 450, imo with the 2.0, though there is a guy with a built motor and cams with the bbx full in California making just over 400 on 91. Like shekaar said, it will come down to the tune and dyno.

The 3.0 Xtr is good for 600 whp from what I've read, so slightly slower spool most likely, but still pretty good if I had to guess, as it's still a stock frame.

I highly doubt it, especially on a 2.0L. For your goals, you should probably be considering a T3 kit with a Garrett gtx382r or the Xona rotor variant of that turbo.
