AMS STX500 or CBRD RBX Twinscroll?

I'm ready to get my Evo X to the next level and can't decide what to do. The AMS STX500 seems to be at a decent price considering it includes the following:

GTX Billet wheel, ball bearing 30R Turbo
AMS Widemouth Downpipe
AMS 3” Racing Series Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust, Single Tip
AMS 3” Stainless Steel Test Pipe
AMS Performance Intake System
AMS Front Mount Intercooler Kit
AMS Upper Intercooler Pipe
AMS 3" STX500 Compressor Inlet Elbow
DeatschWerks DW65c Fuel Pump
Injector Dynamics 1000cc Fuel Injectors
Grimspeed Boost Control Solenoid
Cobb AccessPort
AMS STX500 ECU Flash

The CBRD kit is about the same price once you add on the rest of the items from above. My questions are as follow for those who own either kit:

1. How does your turbo compare to stock spool?
2. What whp did you achieve?
3. Who did your install?
4. How did you tune your car?

5. Anything else you want to add that can help me decide!

The 3076R that comes with the AMS kit is a 65 lb/min turbo, where the EFR 7163 is a 60 lb/min turbo, according to each manufacturer.

From the charts I've seen of the TS kits Chad has done, it only loses 150-250 rpm spool to the stock turbo. I've got the open scroll kit, and I believe I lost about 600 rpm. I was installed/tuned at CBRD, via opensource. ~220 whp stock run, and about 420/350 at 25 lbs of boost all said and done on 93 octane.

Gains should be similar between both on the stock block, with the GTX likely giving a smidge more room to grow later if you decided to.

If you wanted more, how much more could be reasonably had?

The AMS kit is a stock frame turbo, it will be limited to low 500's for whp. I would do the CBRD setup. You will be getting more for your money.

The EFR definitely has better technology built into it, and obviously I thought it was the best option for the money

I've not seen the 7163 maxed out yet, so I'm honestly not sure what the upper limits are!
