Labor Costs (head job)
Hey everyone, I have a bent valve on my Evo X. I'm going to rebuild it and throw in some GSC beehive springs with Titanium Retainers as well as Map +1mm Valves and some GSC s2 cams.
but now the real questions..
What should i be paying for labor costs to have all of this done?
The head will need to be taken off the car, sent to the machine shop and assembled and reinstalled. I just want to make sure the shop im getting my work done at is being reasonable..
How many hours should this take and how much should i be paying? (Parts not included)
Thanks I really appreciate everyones feedback and help
Cheers

R&I on the head pays 14.3hrs on alldata. Expect the machine shop bill to be $300-$400 for hot tank, valve job, mill deck surface.
I would not use MAP valves. Or their head studs. You're already getting GSC cams and springs, so go with GSC valves, and it doesn't hurt to reinstall the head with ARP studs.
