Decision making in NYC (tuners and parts)

I recently bought an Evo X not knowing much and cars. after doing plenty research i learned this is the place to learn. I want to to make about make about 450-500 whp keeping the car safe as a daily. My first question is what parts (brand would help) should i get and use to safely make these number and be reliable. My second question is after doing a lot of research no answer what tuner would be the best to go to in the tri state area?willing to drive 2 hours any direction from the NYC.

If you want to run E85/flex fuel, an MHI 18k and the appropriate supporting bolt ons is the route to take. For pump gas, a vband turbo kit with a Precision Gen2 5558 will be the ticket.

You can check out RRT in Canton , CT , probably within a 2 hour drive. I have been using Raif for about 3 years now , great to deal with!

Hi guys. Newbie's question is here to update this thread. I'm sorry, guys, but... Evo X or Lancer? It's gonna be my first car ever, so I'd be grateful for your guidance.

Newbie here, not a newbie to cars. They're both cool in their own ways. Maybe try flipping a coin and letting fate decide? But seriously, think about what you want in a car. The Evo X is known for being super fast and handling really well, while the Lancer is more practical and affordable. So, think about what you'll be using the car for and what features are important to you. Anyway, you can always use a coin flipper. Anyway, hope that helps a bit.
