Anyways. AMS Good work! Cant wait what other things you guys are going to develop. Cant wait till the MR comes out so i can start modding.

Stock evo x fuel pump looks great, but can still benifit from a 255.

My eye's started to tear! hahaha thats the funniest thing i've read all day long.

On topic. The X looks very promissing. can't wait to see some dyno vids and more bolt-ons. lets see what the stock turbo can put out.

off topic, what was the highest whp stock turbo 8 and 9. And I wonder what the x might do. oh well

Correct, but not by much. Only hardcore HP would need to upgrade.

If you start out at 19psi, you are starting with LOWER torque at 3k rpms and the car will then taper it's boost from there. If both cars had a target peak boost of 23 psi then, I feel we would have a better comparison. IMO it's not really fair to compare one car with peak boost at 23psi and another at 19psi. Torque *is* HP if you didn't know...
Peak boost between the cars wouldn't matter since 1) they run different boost stock and 2) they use two different turbos. So upping boost on a IX to match the X would be unfair, not the other way around.

Great job AMS, and great job to all the other tuners out there get started on the EVO X so quickly. So it looks like one of the best first mods should be a boost controller?

Looks like a little knock at 6k rpm.

Its too bad they put a smaller turbo on the 10 as that will probably end up being the stock platforms initial limitation.

I'm curious as to what the numbers will be with a tune, on race gas, at max stock turbo boost.

^I'm a little nervous to start changing the Turbo so quickly. I'm worried that if there's a defect, and my warranty is voided then I'm sh*t out of luck.

That's what I thought but the log showed consistent timing.

Martin, will the X pump be a drop-in replacement for the IX pump, or are they configured totally differently?

They are different pumps, I dont think they will interchange at all.
