Blow Off

Alright, I am prepared to get flamed for this...

I want a louder blow off valve on my X, I know I cant have 100% atmospheric blow off valve because it'll cause problems. Thats why I want a recirculation one.

Are any manufacturers planning on making new intakes with flanged options for blow off valves?

Buy an AMS intake kit. More power and more blow-off sound.

its made by agency power adj. for 100% recirc. and atmosphere, and also in 50/50

I have always hated BOVs. Just thought they were to much rice, but more so i didnt like them cuz they caused drive ability problems.

But.... its believed that the X has a MAP sensor, which means there's a possibility that a VTA BOV MIGHT not cause the problems it did on the VIII and IX's. But then again is just a guess......

Please dont ruin your car with a ill working BOV to get a loud sound. The stock Evo X bov is a great unit and can hold some serious boost with a slight crushing.

Better to get an intake so it sounds louder and keep the BOV 100% recirculating. Venjting air to atmosphere with a MAF sensor car results in overly rich fueling condition as the ecu is going to supply fuel for the missing or escaped air.

AL Im with you and against VTA BOV on a MAF equipped car and believe the metal OEM DV is pretty good, even better with crushing, but as you might know, there is a MAF and a possibly a new MAP sensor that is 3 bar. since theres a higher reading MAP sensor, theres a small possibility that VTA BOV wont cause as many problems.
