I'm much broker than you so my car is still stock.
But I plan on getting the DP/O2, Hi flow cat, and Dual from them and I'm not in any hurry to build a race car so I can wait it out.
I could understand if people were on a deadline of some sort with regards to a track schedule (like BlackTrack for example), but for the average person, it's just an impatience thing.

for me ... waiting isnt the issue ... the lack of ANY information is the issue.

If you got to a restaurant ... and your food takes forever you get upset ...

if the waitress/waiter comes by and simply keeps you updated on whats causing the delay ...

you appreciate them taking concern for you as a customer and leave a decent tip.

Exactly. Since so many of us have already chosen to wait -- that's not the issue. AMS knows we are waiting, the least they could do is poke their head into this thread every 2 weeks or so and say SOMETHING...ANYTHING.

What if there's absolutely nothing new to report? What if the status hasn't changed one bit from the last time they told you what the situation was? What would be the point coming in here everyday and saying "yeah, nothing's changed"? Just my 2 pennies, I realize everyone has their own gripes and frustrations...

The lack of AMS participation in this thread is almost as bad as my thread I started about why my AMS exhaust says vibrant and not automotosports.

Who said anything about coming here and posting every day?

They haven't posted here in about 2 months, FYI.

Damn, why do all you guys have you panties bunched up? AMS will get it to market when they can. It's not their fault if the supplier is slow.

In case you haven't noticed, the global economy has gone to **** and lots of companies are closing down. A casting foundry that's a supplier for my company has shut down. Guess what? There's all kinds of chaos now trying to source parts.

Another supplier got the parts wrong THREE times. That's three shipments and over 3 months worth of time lost.

Seriously, all of you just need to be patient

^Maybe a little off topic, but the media pretty much drives the economy. If they say the sky is falling over and over, people are going to lose it.

I also wish we got some updates from AMS, I can't wait for this to be released! And off topic, but what ever happened to their dual catback? Last I heard was Christmastime, but no updates since then?

Guys I am sorry. The search function up until recently has SUCKED and to be honest this is a big site so its hard to find all the threads that we need attending to.

The good news is that that the O2 eliminator downpipes are almost done. We are being told under three weeks. When I KNOW they are in transit I will put them up for sale but not before then. Please understand we were misinformed on lead times as well. We stood to gain nothing by telling you it was going to be ready when it wasn't. We were just giving you the information that the casting agency's were giving us. I am very sorry but it looks like the long wait is almost over

Eric
