If you read my post above we sent that housing out. The AEM FIC will enable us to dial in the AFR where we want it despite what housing is on the car so we can get sold number increases.

I was doing some searches on O2 Housings and Downpipes for the Evo X and decided to revive this thread. 5 months later have you guys fully tested before and after gains with the only change being the O2 Eliminator Downpipe being swapped? How about on a car that has a FMIC, Upper & Lower Pipes, Intake, Testpipe, Catback, 24 PSI and a good Tune?
I can see that if you bolted this onto a nearly stock car the upgrade would be lack luster. If the combo makes a good 15-20 whp gain once you have all the other basic bolt ons then I would think it would be a popular upgrade though! I also noticed that Buschur was looking into designing a similar part but haven't seen anything on the radar either. Now that there are some stock housing turbo upgrades coming out I bet there will be an increased interest as well.

+1, wtf AMS, so much hype and so little delivery. Get'R'DONE already! I don't even OWN an X and the anticipation is killing me, this is such a dead obvious mod for the stock turbo and just SILENCE from so many people about it. Let's go!
^^^^^^^^^ ha ya thats what i was hopeing. I known my tune date for the last 2 months and tried to get a 02 housing, But now its to late my tune date is monday. hopefully they will have something soon.

They released their system first and although it does look nice its quite a bit different than ours. Because we are casting the O2 section we can get away with much more in the way of design and exhaust flow. I have seen the prototype and its worth the wait.

not so much large but the design is much different. if you notice on The UR piece its divided. our Current design is undivided
Here you can see what I am talking about. Now this is still a hand fabricated version of it so we are limited with the bends and what we can do with it...why cast is so much nicer. But you can see the lack of restriction and difference in design we are talking about. Now as far as who's is better. That will have to be done in a back to back test. Right now its all speculation. I like to think our engineers know what they are doing though
