Looks good. One question, why go with a test pipe instead of a high flow cat.

because I live my life a quater mile at a time, and I want max street horsepower for when i'm spankin v-8s and vteck honda's! lol jk bro.

actually... I had a test pipe on my old BB6, DC2... CTA9 (evo 8) ... hell... every car i've ever owned... so naturally, I wanted to go this route from the beginning.. HFC's or high flow cats are really restrictive.. in the mid-high RPM's you loose about 10-15whp across the board... with your typical 300 Cell HFC's....if not more.

I am hoping a 100 cell "race cat" which is the next best thing to a Test Pipe will become available soon for the X... if that happens, I will be swapping the test pipe out for a race cat.

Question on the exhaust - Could it have been possible to put one muffler on the testpipe piece you fabbed up instead of that resonator you have on ther.

Then you would have just the Y piece with just the tips instead of the 2 resonators? That would make the system a lot lighter, I would think.

But, I am guessing loudness would have been your concern being Cali and all!

yes, how is the sound level with 3 or 4 resonators you have instead of mufflers, compared with stock system?

I don't know if this will be the production model, or just a 1 off. Call RRE if you want something like this or different.
