We are the exclusive distributor for T1R Evo X products and are actively involved in the product development and testing. However, manufacturing is handled by T1R.

Sorry, I don't have any cutaway pics. Basically the muffler design is a straight through design. The exhaust comes into the muffler, and the flow is split in two, each path going direct to one of the muffler tips. There are no actual chambers that force the exhaust into 180 degree turns and such. It's a very high flow, straight through design.

We are planning to work on the 08 Lancers as well, but won't be able to begin development until we finish work on the Evo this summer.

Thanks! It's a small world! So many Honda owners are Evo owners also!

Great point about the aerodynamic function of the muffler. Such a large hole in front of the rear diffuser must reduce top speed a bit. Would be nice if some of the track guys could test this.

Alberta sucks!
Alberta probably has better weather than BC right now though! How's the Evo scene over there?

You're both very welcome to come by! For tuning, we have the ability to do it, but are lacking in dyno facilities. What are you planning to use for tuning?

Here are more pics of the complete car and build thus far:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=349929

Final specs, sound clips, and dyno's we will be working on dilligently for the next few weeks. We'll post as soon as they become available.

The T1R 76S exhaust will be available in early July, and the plan is for it to be a semi-turbo back exhaust. It will come with down pipe, test pipe, and cat back (b-pipe and muffler). The O2 housing / up pipe will be optional for a complete turbo back.
