FMIC help!! and some other question.

Well just wondering if it is worth buying a FMIC if you dont plan on upgrading your turbo any time soon. I no they gain HP but it does lose boost and take longer for the turbo to spool up on a stock turbo. So will the FMIC make the EVO X faster or no. What do you guys think.

Also any word on any o2 housing and with dyno charts for sale. Also is it worth getting a LICP. A lot of company's are making the LICP because they said the stock one was pretty good. But people are stilling buy them. Are there any hp gains from the LICP.

Last i hear about the intake or exhaust manifold put on the EVO X already. Are they for sale or are company's just making them for there shop cars. If there are for sale where at and what are the gains.

I am also done with the bolt on's with my car and need to no now what is next lol. thanks.

We'll have exhaust manifolds for sale in about 2 weeks . We'll first install it in a stock car and see what the gains are , look at my sig - I'm sure we can agree its most likely helping out some

An O2 housing is a must-have for the X ...

The power gains from an intercooler upgrade will result from the lower and consistently low air intake temperatures produced from a more efficient core design. That will also translate into reduced knock sensitivity for more boost and timing available on pump gas, which is always a good thing too Our customers typically report 2-3psi and 5-6 degrees of timing available without knock that weren't available on the stock intercooler on pump gas. With a good internal fin pack design you can also see superior flow, which can translate to improved spool up and response and have the best of both worlds! Those gains all apply regardless of the turbo you're running

The stock LICP is well designed where power production is concerned, and our primary goals in replacing it were to eliminate the factory flex hose that can expand under boost with all hard piping and 4-ply reinforced silicone couplers, get minimum overall piping length and replace the factory worm drive clamps that can blow off under high boost with SS T-bolt clamps to make sure they stay in place.

If you have any questions about your mod path or what I posted above don't hesitate to get in touch

Tom

Hey thank everyone for all the great info. I guess i am going to get a FMIC. Since my car is already a mutt i am going to look for the the most HP FMIC and i am thinking that is bushur racing. Pleas correct me if i am wrong. Also bushur does your FMIC fit right in the place of the stock one or do you have to mod it in any way.

The LICP i am still unsure if i want to get. Hey bushur u said your LICP re routes the BOV. Well i got the AMS intake is that going to interfer because there intake re routed the BOV as well.

And last does any one have the 02 housing for sale yet. And tom and ETS what are your dyno numbers looking like for you items for sale. ill have to look at your web site later today.

I am going to the track today i have the U-R turbo back exhaust and ams intake. Wish me luck. looking for low 13's to high 12's.

If you cut a 1.6 - 1.9 60ft time, you'll see 12's. With this car, if you can drive, you'll get great results. I believe BR has the biggest gains for an IC because that thing is 4.5" thick! God I want one!
