Last I checked they didn't seem too concerned with releasing this.

They said they had other thing to tend to. I think they are under the impression their business will wait around forever and not buy something else.

I think that was a little uncalled for. As we have stated in many threads the system is being made. this takes time to have everything bent up. This is not a straight pipe with a muffler slapped on it. Its a very complex system. About two weeks ago I said we were about 8 weeks out. Im sorry its not going as fast as we would like but we wont compromise quality for anything

I think everyone is just anxious. I think we just consider an exhaust system one of the first things a company should get done and seeing as how this car has been on the market for 7 and a half months we are a bit eager for the AMS system.

The single tip system was finished almost immediately as it was much less complex, this system however took a while to engineer and develop. Its the most unique idea out right now and to get it right we have to make sure have all our T's crossed and i's Dotted

knowing these type of people they are going to charge somewere near 1k for these exhaust just because everybody else is charging around the same price and because the car is new, my friend just bought an amazing full turbo back exhaust , top notch quality for 350.00, wen are we going to see prices like this, wen someone slowly decides to lower the price, remember its just "bent tubes" why charge 1k for tubes that probably the most they take is 500.00 to make , if not less.

No offense should be taken by that. I've bought AMS UICP, Intake, FMIC and Test Pipe for my X and tons more when I had my VIII.

As previously stated everyone is just overly anxious. The single exhaust is all well and fine, but why when the car has dual standard would majority of people want only 1 side? The Dual should've been the priority out of the gate.

And I only said what I said about because when I called, a guy told me they have "other more important things to focus on like customer builds".

So that's where I got the impression that it was a low priority. It's all pointless now, I've since bought an ETS dual exhaust out of impatience.

Because no R&D is put into what you get from that, sure you can just put pipes on and say cool its an exhaust, but will it gain you the maximum performance?

I understand. Trust me when I say we would of loved to get it out sooner. However we have to make sure it fits out standards. To be honest all of the dual exhausts we have seen on the market in our eyes can be better....we don't want to encounter that problem in our system. That is the part that takes time, engineering, Designing and perfecting a part.

I'm sorry you were told that, and I will address our sales department as such. I can assure you the twin tip system is on the top of our list for getting completed.

Many people share your opinion but the problem is that until you know what goes in to not just producing but designing a system it's hard to understand that you can't make a system that cheap. With Engineering and production costs along with the cost of material our cost on a system would not even be close to that.

Sure you could find a system that works, copy it and mass produce it overseas but now you have a system of lesser quality and you are cutting the legs out from the company that engineered it. As you hurt their sales they now cannot make other products....soon you have nothing to copy.

If it was a simple as "bent tubes" there would be thousands of systems on the market, obviously that is not the case.

I have said it a thousand times on EVO M... You get what you pay for.
