AMS Dual Exhaust?
I must admit. I am extremely irritated at AMS for their blatant non-chalant attitude towards the release of this.
When calling recently they said it would be ANOTHER 4 months. Really? 4 freakin months? You mean on top of the 4 months I've already been waiting? This is ridiculous.
I dont care their excuse about "design" and "materials". That's all filler talk. One of the associates straight told me they have "more important products and customer cars to deal with".
....and thru all this even eBay has a damn dual exhaust while AMS sits around thinking up new parts to make while ignoring this one. Stop making new crap, and get this released. No more BS, your employees already revealed how you view the Dual exhaust, as "expendable" and "our single is selling well enough".

realistically I bet they are having to do a patent search in order to make sure that it's not a design that they would need to license from borla or whoever'd done it in the past.
and the delay is why I bought the U-R one yesterday

yeah, the UR one looks pretty good...
DirectorSe7en, I'm not doubting that's what you may have heard, but that would be a very poor marketing scheme. Their single exit exhaust is no competition for their dual. Sure they're selling singles, but those of us who want dual exhausts are not considering singles. A lot of us will not wait and potential customers will be lost to other dual manufacturers. A lot of manufacturers are slowly releasing new systems and better systems like UR, HKS, Greddy, etc... so whenever AMS does finally release the dual, it may be amongst various other options. I humbly respect the fact that they are not rushing it though, like other makers did. The only way it'll be a successful product is if it's superior to the other options. And I'm hoping that's what the hold up is about. They haven't let us down in the past, so I doubt they will this time. Either way, I'm most likely gonna wait it out. I can't get tuned this year anyhow, so I don't really mind waiting longer if it means a superior product.

I'll just have to stay stock for a while longer...
