Wow, at least this thread is moving again. Oops. I didn't realize AMS had this as a low priority. If that is true I guess I will just buy a different dual exhaust like maybe the UR one that was just released. AMS, can you give us the story on this? Are we really looking at another 4 months and it is on the back burner for you guys?

First and foremost I am sorry that you were told that "we have more important things to do" that is NOT the case at all. I will address my sales staff immediately about this

This is not a low priority. What I have been not clear enough on is that we are at the stage of this system where there isn't anything we can do. I am sorry that i was not clear enough on that matter. we are waiting on other suppliers to come through with materials for this. its not like any other exhaust system out there and its also harder to get the system up and running. In the meantime we of course are going to continue to develop more product. 4 months is also not an accurate time frame. we are looking at 2-3 TOPS and even that is a bit pessimistic.

We could crank out a system like the others on the market but thats not what you guys want...and not what we want either.


From the beginning of this thread we have been nothing but honest. We are all genuinely sorry that this has taken as long as it has and we most certainly would of not released this so soon had we known then what we do now.

All we can ask is for your continued patience in the matter and we will do our very best to get this out to you as fast as possible. In the end we know this is a business and that this is a product in great demand. We stand to gain nothing by putting this off except to lose sales. So trust us this is a BIG priority.

Thanks for the update! Like I said, I'm going AMS everything, so I'm in for sure as long as it's out by next spring, lol. Besides, I'm doing everything all at once, O2 housing back. And that's not out yet either, so I'm patiently waiting for both!

 

I am a patient person, I want to wait. But hearing 8 weeks when this thread started 8 weeks ago and at that time said 8 weeks just makes me wonder if I should continue to wait. I wanted to do mostly AMS products as well with intake being the exception but just seems hard to tell how much longer this will be in reality.

 

Trust me, we feel your pain. We are literally doing EVERYTHING we can to get this done but when you have to rely on an outside company for something you immediately put everything in their hands.

Again we thank each and every one of you for your continued patience and kindly ask for just a little more.

Fair enough Eric. Just glad you guys aren't giving this item a low priority. I'll buy it the day it becomes available, I hate the way the x sounds stock but I will continue to wait. Thanks for the communication.

Here's a explanation of how companies work for tards that think AMS is holding out on us for their benefit of..... god knows...


AMS wants to make $ (besides the fact they love wat they do & etc.)
But, since the item is unavailable, they can't make money.

Let me break it down in the below formula..

"A" x "B" = "C"

A= Quantity of exhausts AMS sells (0, until it's released)
B= The Price they sell the exhaust for (let's just say... $800)
C= $ Transferred from you, to them.. or "gross"

Now lets "Plug&Play"..

0 x 800 = ?

OH snapz! It equals 0..

Conclusion: They do not benefit from holding out on us.. Thus STFU and wait like everyone else.

Hey nhoj, why don't you leave this thread. I think DirectorSe7en is simply being the voice of everyone, including me, that didn't want to pipe up and say what we wanted to say (which is that AMS delaying is disappointing and costing them sales -- they lost mine).

If you don't want to see what he posts, then add him to your ignore filter and move on. E-thuggery and bashing gets you nowhere.

 

As a wholesale sales, previously retail sales, for an auto manufacturer, you don't know how annoying it is trying to not only satisfy everyone and their opinions on your product.. Especially once the item has already gone into the production stages.. it's not even in their hands any more.. they can't make the hands or machines produce it faster just cause you've already been waiting however long.. so get over it.. *****ing and moaning about delays and broken promises do nothing but ruin everyones' days.. i personally am also waiting for this product, and have been tempted to buy other products because of the delay, but i guess i'm able to not ***** and moan cuz..? (PLUS, they're fuccing manufacturing multiple products.. they said it, they're offering diff tips and everything to try and please EVERYONE they can..)
