I had this clutch put in a few weeks back, when I launch the car with just a little slip should I get a slight clutch smell still?

 

Yes, it is still a clutch and when you slip it your are still burning the clutch. ACT can take a hell of a lot more beating then the stock one. Just make sure you are not over slipping it and give it time to cool down between launches.

 

I didnt think about the clutch being hot from the n-town driving before I launched the car.
