The pics JRod posted don't really show the angle i posted. My exhaust sits pretty dang close to the drive shaft, it can't go higher without getting dangerously close to the driveshaft.

The crazy part is Buschur's X is RobiSpecd and sits even lower.

Also, taking Epic sized speed bumps at an angle could also solve this problem.

Another thought, have you the OP called Buschur about this problem? Or did you just decide to make a post?

LOL the spped bumps aren't EPIC sized... they are very normal asphalt speedbumps.

taking speedbumps in a non-lowered car at angles...this isn't a Lamborghini its a Mitsubishi... Its a rally car, it sits high, and here I will be taking the bumps at angles if I have something in the trunk... seems a little stupid to me. Ohwell gotta do what u gotta do I suppose.

No, As i said the product works fine. I'm not calling to complain about a product that works... it just works inconveniently.

Can any other owners chime in who have the Buschur and can confirm his install is correct and this is just a design "flaw".

Also post the pics in your first post now so people can immediately see them.

If it's bothering you that much, enough that you post about it, you still should have called them just to ask them if there could be a problem. It would have been as simple as posting this thread for suggestions, thoughts, opinions. I think that's why people are asking if you contacted them. It may be something that can be remedied rather easily. But you won't know until you call to see.

Everyone is fine with people posting positive reviews on products as soon as someone says one thing negative, people jump on the bandwagon and think i should alert the manufacturer. Sorry but people need to hear the good with the bad.... I'm not afraid to spend 1000 bucks and then say "hmm...its not what i expected" just cause something is expensive doesn't mean its always gonna be perfect. I can live with the exhaust...i'm just sharing something I feel was overlooked in its design.

It does sit pretty low. Here is a drivers and passenger view of mine.

I have not had any issues as of yet. I will try some giganto speed bumps tonight at high speed, joking on the latter part .

I have this exhaust as well and I can verify that it sits low. I don't usually have any problems with speed bumps but it did scrape once.

Hey John, sorry about the fitment issues and about all the folks junking up your thread with off topic jdm vs usdm crap. PM Noize and ask him to clean the OT stuff, he will be glad to do it.

As far as the fitment goes, we noticed that during the install, I was more worried about the can hitting the drive shaft but after seeing the side profile.... yikes. I'm afraid nothing can be done fitment wise that I know of, no where to adjust the can height and as you already noted, no room for it to go higher.

I wonder if a smaller diameter resonator would do the trick. Of course the trade off being the potential increased decimal level.
