So by kit you mean its more than just a 2600 buck turbo i assume? What else comes with it? Hopefully something besides just fittings and lines, because that would be awfully expensive then, but still appetizing.

I'm not sure exactly what it comes with I'm waiting on that information and the eta right now. I'm assuming it is everything you need to bolt it on. This thing literally just got released so there is not much information available yet.

its a proprietary cast hot and cold side... options look like a 3071R and 3076R with bigger cast turbo inlet..

we should have ours in a week or so... we are getting the larger variant.

Well since it's a bolt on and retains the stock manifold I would assume then that my previous post is right. So it will probably be the mentioned turbo, with the oil lines and water (i assume ours have water cooling as well, never looked into it, most stock cars do) and any extra fittings for it. That is still a bit pricey in my opinion but its a very nice turbo, and its new for a new car. Still the cheapest option out there if you can get the fuel and ecuTEK tune to accompany it I guess.

This looks promising. Other than upgrading the fuel system and a pro tune would any upgrading of the engine internals need to be done?

to get the true benefit of the turbo you will want to up the boost some doing so will put much more stress on our already crappy valve springs, so I would say at the very least you will want to upgrade the valve springs....

Garrett EVOX turbo = 3076, 3582 and 3586HTA Goodness!

We are already prepared to fit the 76mm HTA wheels into this Garrett Turbocharger, and from the looks of it the 3582HTA and 3586HTA setups are no problem either. If you get one of these, don't put it in without HTA'ing it!

If you plan on updating it right off the bat to a 3076HTA setup or 3582HTA or 3586HTA, purchase the smaller 3071 variant, it is going to be less expensive than the 3076, I guess they are charging per CFM

Of course we already have the FP Red for EVOX ready togo, got a few on the shelf now as a matter of fact. They are lonely and looking for love! BVP did 450whp and a 10.7 on the FP Red for EVOX already, with lots more in store

Yes, anyone may do this. Call us so we can hold on aside for you while you ship yours in, this way I can promise that you will not have any downtime. It is $1199 and includes new larger turbine and compressor wheels full overhaul and blueprint, same specs as the FP Red for the EVO9, just spins the other direction. actually the next few people will be getting the ones we built out of brand new EVOX turbos, so happy happy joy joy!!

Thanks for the suggestion. It is so exiting to see all of these alternatives for the X. This platform is turning out to be very potent with the right mods.

No time. There are several on the shelf finished, ready to ship. But we dont ship them until you take your core off and send it in. Before you do that call to put one of the finished turbos on hold for you. When your core arrives, your FP Red for EVOX ships out same day. careful taking it off, breaking a bolt in the turbine housing will cost you $45.

So step one is to call and get one of the finished turbos on hold. Step two is take the turbo off the car and send it in. Step three is get the Red in the mail and put it on your car with minimum downtime, maybe only 2 days.

What on gods earth are you talking about?

Boost has nothing to do with valvesprings; It's max RPM and cam profile that do. If you have a stock block and don't plan on revving to the moon, keep your stock springs. It's pointless to revv high without cams anyway.
