HKS intercooler Pipes

Does the HKS intercooler pipes come with a lower intercooler pipe? Or does it not completely replace the lower intercooler pipe?

Yes it also comes with the lower intercooler pipe, complete replacement.

Im thinking to get this along with the ARC intercooler.

I just got mine from vividracing, it does not come with the lower pipe.
No removal of front bumper require at all.

The pics shown from evoxforums must be the complete intercooler kit from japan.
You can check out their new product line up at hksusa.com

So the HKS intercooler pipe kit is just a top intercooler pipe?

It replaces the intercooler piping as follows:

Top
Turbo Outlet #1
<hks provided silicone coupler>
Over Engine Pipe (just made that up, but you c what i mean) #2
<hks provided silicone coupler>
Pipe down to IC #3
<hks provided silicone coupler>

Bottom (coming from the bottom of the intercooler)
<hks provided silicone coupler>
STOCK LICP
<hks provided silicone coupler>
HKS LICP into Throttle Body #4
<hks provided silicone coupler>

Overly large pic:

I hope that makes sense. I had the same questions myself.

Also note that there are new fittings for the vacuum lines coming off the turbo outlet.

Does the HKS intercooler pipe kit fit the MR especially the LICP? I heard the MR LICP is different than the GSR.

I wonder if the turbo outlet makes that big of a difference? I see some companies upgrade the stock one and some don't.

Any idea why they stick with the stock LICP? Just so don't have to remove front bumper, or is the stock pipe already the larger diameter?

^There is no advantage in replacing the LICP.
