NEW Xtremeboost Upgrade Clutch Master Cylinder
We had he one we tested and we made a few changes , we're still trying to figure out if the investment is actually worth it . The big pros are that once clutches like Tilton come you would be able to just plug right in when as with stocker it will not happen unless Tilton makes an investment of their own and make a custom fitting to hook onto the X's master . We've been talking to another vendor that may want to buy in on these units . The crazy thing is that we had put a stock master back on and it lasted about 3 months
.. I'll see what the next few weeks brings us but we'll get back on this soon .
So I talked with the dealership and they don't know what the problem is and want to take apart all of the clutch and transmission to find out. The problem is he said to do that it is going to cost me upwards of $1300. I dont really know all that much about the defined mechanics of clutches either so that doesn't help the matter. This whole clutch ordeal is starting to cost me a whole lot of money. It might just be time to dump the evo. Let me know if anyone has any ideas or comments.

Doh, sorry for the month old topic bump. But some news would be nice! Any advancements at all?
I do want to get serious, but for what I have right now it's definitly overkill, but in a few months I should be running an FP Red and cams (clutch before I do this). Wouldn't the heavy duty clutch be a bad thing at this point for me?
I was expecting the Carbonetic Triple to be kind of a ***** with driveabillity, but it's actually the opposite. It's smooth and just a slightly heavier pedal than stock. Would be perfect for a daily driven higher HP car.
What about the thrust bearing, wouldn't it wear out quicker running into problems? Also, why did AMS remove the Carbonetic line off their website? Sorry for the questions, never really researched this matter before and my next mod is a clutch for sure.
