I just rotated my rubber hangers today as shown by Dex_luthor (page 7), but surprisingly the left muffler sits really close to the diffuser (which is perfect) whereas the right muffler is sitting a little lower ! I did the exact same thing for the 2 rubber hangers and the right muffler still sits 1 finger lower than the left muffler...

Is it me or the 2 mufflers aren't really the same? any help or suggestions?

Add another to the list of the HKS Hi-Power club. I was nervous about it being to loud before I got it, but it really is perfect. The sound it makes is fantastic, it definitely lowers the tone and makes the car sound more powerful...but in a smooth classy way and not fart can exhaust style. Quality is excellent as well.

I have the same problem =/

I'm thinking of bending the metal hanger, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Also - anyone know how hard it might be to weld in a resonator on the first half of the straight pipe? The droning is pretty bad on 3 hour high way cruises.

I had to bend my hangers to get them to sit evenly.

Try to allign the back boxes by loosening the flange bolts.Retighten them and you're done!

This is true my good man but it didn't bother me back then. Bending the hangers is the only want to seat the right side muffler flush to the diffuser.

This is great that this exhaust review is still being bumped once in a while, it must mean that people are still taking some considerations to tips exhaust.

+1 ...

I was about to ask someone to make me a custom hanger for the muffler, but it's a waist of money

As I mentioned in the GReddy thread, I ended up buying the HKS exhaust after reading all the positive reviews. Bought it from Adam (MA Performance on this forum).

He said there was only one model and linked me to the HKSUSA site which shows "OFF ROAD USE ONLY". Hopefully that doesn't mean it's crazy loud. From what I can tell it's the same as the one which is reviewed in this thread's first post and should hopefully not be a cop magnet.

How long is everyone else finding the install time?

I'm gonna try to find a workshop with a hoist and ask them to install it for me. Presuming it's a 15 minute job, hopefully it won't cost much.
