hi guys,

thx for the tips, pix n vids . . .

i'm about to get this exhaust but i have a few q's :

i'm planning to install the exhaust with test pipe (speed circuit) & most likely AMS's Big Mouth DP all at once but will there be any fitment issues ?

as far as i understand the HKS Hi Power System is up to stock cat, so i can replace it with Speed Circuit TP and then from the TP to AMS DP to the turbo outlet which will complete my entire exhaust system.

Not too sure if i'm getting it right, but all advise/opinions will be appreciated & many thx in advance

All aftermarket catback exhaust route their pipes to the stock cat mounting location. It is up to the manufacturer of the test pipe to retain the stock catback and down pipe mounting location for their test pipe to fit with other aftermarket companies. Simply put it, Yes you should have no problems putting a Speed Circuit TP with the HKS Hi Power Exhaust.

I'd love to hear a video of the HKS high power with test pipe and an upgraded down pipe. I'm wondering if it will be a bit too loud with that setup.

Hi guys,
finally I got this exhaust; unfortunately I can install it only in 2 weeks because now I will be out for work
I will write you my impression as soon as I install it, meanwhile I wait also for my Rexpeed heat shields so I can do all the job in one time.

The first impression looking at the exhaust is of a good quality (ok, center pipe is not stainless but mufflers' finishing is excellent, weldings in particular) and... the tips are really HUGE!!! I like them!

Don't worry about the center pipe because it's coated in some kind of teflon material that gives it that extra bit of protection from rusting.

Finally I installed the HKS exhaust, together with Rexpeed heat shields.
I rotated the rubber hangers like you guys suggest here, so the exhaust tips now are close to the bumper like I want.

Fitment is very good, and I really love the sound: at the end it is NOT too loud for me, it's just like I was hoping

Everybody's definition of loud varies from person to person. If you research what 108 db is in the range of what volume and then factor in a test pipe that can raise it another 10 db. Then you will get a clear idea of how loud it is. HKS Hi Power exhaust is in no means quiet at all but definitely not as loud as straight piped 80mm non tapered system like Greddy TI- Comp and Tomei. If your in the market for single can look go with the mentioned above but for twin canister go with the HKS.

Wow that's really quiet surprisingly. My g/f's EVO X has the Legamax on it and it's hard to say which is louder...
