It should have had plenty of fuel still given the X's overly rich stock air fuel ratios and your mods. If your oil pump gear has seized I'm betting that was what caused the problem.

Oil pump def. sounds like it could be the culprit. No oil=lots of metal on metal.

BTW im on Speicher in Tikrit, where u heading?

Was there any abnormal sounds prior to this failure? Rod knock, ticking, whining, oil pressure light, anything?

There really aren't any parts to give. I'm going to replace the broken parts with new parts.

Just wasn't planning on doing that so soon lol.. Guess I will start my build early. The only thing I am really mad about is I can't turn my block in as a core, since the lower half of the block is messed up, and I have a rod size hole threw the sleeve and block itself. On the bright side I didn't crash and die on the way home . Gotta look at the positives
I can't say that the older 4g63 engine has never been witness to such destruction, but i can say this, a tune would have maybe prevented this, although, the damage is more towards the bottom, so detonation doesn't seem to have been the culprit. Failed and such would have result in the bottom half being blown out, but would this have been such a problem on the 4g63? With the mild mods you have, would a failing of a bearing result in the bottom half of the block going bye bye?

These pictures don't ease my tensions that the new 4b11, although stout, is still not quite the brute that the 4g63 is, but I don't care, Mitsu doesn't currently make a EVO X that is worth buying my opinion. I wish so badly that the RS would come back to the states, even if the RS is without the AYC. I can't stand wheel spin, in any form.

Sorry for you loss, and in terms of loss, this is nothing by comparison to what you might be exposed to when your deployed. Like you said, your still alive. That's what i said when the sandwich plate on my S2000 seperated at 140+mph, which lead to oil spilling on the headers, and the entire right side braking system. Do you know what it is like to apply the brakes at 140+ plus, have the cabin fill completely with smoke, and have the ride side braking system soaked with oil? Well I learned quickly that the grass, or the median, can plan a good role in stopping a vehicle.

Sorry to hear about that man. Hope everything works out for you. I know you said you don't want to deal with it now, but if you want to take it to the dealer, I have the stock parts you need in Milwaukee. If you need any help with anything, there are a bunch of us in the area. Just PM me.

Thanks for defending our country and our freedom to drive and mod these awesome machines.
