Any piston damage? Check your spark plugs and inspect piston tops.

Damn!!!!! you must've been like . I know I would've. Great attitude and come back safe and enjoy the evo. I would love to hear about your build. No forum members I know of running a stroker on a X. You'd be the first I think.

Yes, stroker would be relatively new.

There are however a small handful of members and vendors using aftermarket pistons which they may or may not be pretending to have a stock motor still

Yea i agree, it seems like your oil pump siezed up. I dont is the mbc that caused it, if its the mbc you woulda have damaged on the piston/ringland/head/headgasket.

This just doesn't look like something you did , looks more like some sort of internal issues which your car had . Good luck with everything .

More than likely you are right, but proving to Mitsubishi this is the case will be damn near impossible because of his mods. I guess it would be cool if he felt like fighting them and taking it to court and what not to see the outcome, but his outlook seems spot on.

Good luck with the rebuild

I'm sure everyone on here tells the truth about what they have or don't have on their cars. If so than I am going to add that I have a flux capacitor installed on my car to my signature. Will Mitsubishi void my warranty for that? I don't post a lot on here, but some of the stuff people come up with really amazes me.

Absolutely no way they can or will do that it's just asking for trouble. I could create an account hear posing as you or anyone else with a huge list of fake mods. Mitsubishi has NO way to determine who you are or if it's really you unless they were a skip tracer in a past life.

Actually many will do all sorts of things to their cars and try to claim it under warranty but this guys pics look like something he may not had caused . And no not everyone tells the actual truth some like to use nitrous and will say they never do or run 17.5 A/F 's and not know enough to understand why plugs are burning off and then wonder why the motor is blown - and that amazes me

I say this motor had a failure not in the realm of the normal .
