man that sucks bro. Now I want to take off my parts and go back to stock. I have the AMS intake and UICP, I've had the too lean (bank 1) SES code before, but it hasn't come back since I've cleaned my MAF. Should I be fine? or will my motor blow too?

I'm blaming my problem on a oil pump failure. Even tho alot of folks think it was the MBC and no tune... I know alot of people that have a setup like mine with no tune and have 20-30k miles on there car at 25psi and 28psi and beat on there cars, and there still going.. But I guess that is a risk you would have to decide on your own. Your safe bet would just get a tune. Or put the stock intake back on. UICP dosen't need a tune, the intake is what makes the car run a little leaner. (I think thats even on the AMS website to for the intake)

Also keep in mind my car was running around 3.2-4k rpm *depending where i was* For around 19-21 hours straight, minus the 10mins to stop for gas and walk my dog a few times.

I've always lived by the motto, if your gonna play the modding game, don't be scared to break something. And if you break it, make it better/stronger. If your scared then put ur car back to stock. Otherwise you won't enjoy your car if you think its gonna break everytime you feel the need to push the pedal down a little further. Just my outlook on it.

Although 25 psi is very close to the 23 psi max stock,

Concur with the opinion that with a MBC you need a tune.

If the oil pump went first and starved oil the cams usually seize first and just lock up, not blow up. You would have seen the red oil pressure light too, way before anything seized.

Looks like the rod broke, the piston is still intact, guessing detonation stress. Maybe the 90 didn't help.

thanks for your service, stay safe

so i see alot about the mbc "maybe" causing this.

I just put an mbc on my stock x and got a pro tune. Am i at risk of these issues? What about the tune do i need to make sure they addressed? Its at 23.8 psi right now, but wouldnt mind going higher down the road.

ouch. Very sad. Something very wrong with the tune, or parts. To send the rod out the block like that it either had too much boost, or bad bearings/imbalanced crank.

Well maybe I was just lucky. I was pushing between 24psi & 25psi with no tune for about 4 months and I'm still running. But it really sucks dude. Wish you the best.
