Question My Evo X FP red set up.

My set up is

fp red ported.
UR tbe (high flow cat, single outlet)
extremeboost external wastegate set up with dump.
cossworth mx1 cams.
aem meth kit with failsafe (using medium jets)
agp fmic with licp and uicp.
ams intake
walbro pump, ams fuel rail with 800 cc drop in injectors.
arp head stud.
act clutch with lightened flywheel.
hks thermostat
okada project ignition
agency power bov......

Works tuned 26 peak tapering to 24 at the top. afr is perfect and car feels great. Pete said he is tuning for safety and durability since it is my DD.

stock car reading on Works dynopack is 230whp.

With my set up i have 380whp and 336wtq.

is my reading low or normal? should i get a more "aggressive" tune?

i was expecting at least 420whp with my set up therefore i am kind of disappointing.

what should i do?

thanks guys

Dont try to compare dyno results with other people. Look at how much you pick up after your mods on the same dyno. Thats about all a dyno is good for anyway.

Seen two identical Superflow all wheel dynos side by side read totally different ... just use them to see how much you pick up and it looks like you picked up 150hp ... not bad.

It seems a little low actually. Seen numbers that high with the stock turbo and cams on a dynapack. It's not for lack of boost. Gosh now I'm worried about how low my setup may come in at. I'm running an FP red also.

Sure, you can get a more 'aggressive' tune. How long do you want your engine to last?

Numbers are just numbers, they aren't comparable to anyone elses unless they dyno'd essentially at the same time as you on the same dyno.

Is the car fast? You just increased your power by 65%.... I wish my 401k would go up that much.

Wrong.

Lowest is usually Dyno Dynamics (unless tampered with).
Next lowest is Mustang Dyno (unless tampered with).

I'd say Dynapacks are right inbetween Mustang and Dynojet, Dynojet being one of the highest I've seen.

+1. Most of the members in the 400+ range are at least running 93 octane. Most are either on E85 or Alky Injection.

If you gained 150 whp you should be happy.

hmmm, that does seem low. If that dyno reads stock at 230 and your putting 380 down thats a 150 horse increase, the dyno I was on reads around 245 stock and I put down 452 at the wheels, thats 208 horse increase. The only real difference is you have cams, and I peaked at 4more psi with the larger nozzle on my meth kit. I would of thought you could of got 450awhp

Looks like meth injection as well according to his list.

However it sounds like this is a conservative tune.

did you have your internal wg in your red removed? coz i'm seeing an "external wg setup" thing...

looking at your graph...your spool up is kinda late...well comparing it to other red setups...IMHO...

I would agree with you on that one as well . One of our local customers has a like size turbo in this car but made 411hp at about the same boost on a Jestr tune without cams and on stock cat-back - and that was on whats known to be a lower reading dynojet which will be a bit closer to the reading of this dynapack .
