looking at your graph...your spool up is kinda late...well comparing it to other red setups...IMHO...

i have the internal wg from the red removed. got the external dump pipe from xtremeboost. it is loud.

so you guys think that i should up the boost by 3+ psi?

thanks guys

The only real difference is you have cams, and I peaked at 4more psi with the larger nozzle on my meth kit. I would of thought you could of got 450awhp

how's your t/c and tranny. have you got it rebuild yet?

IMO i think your numbers are real low. im making the same power without cams and no meth. i dunno cuz find a new tuner.

GST,

do you think you can possibly do a 450whp tune for me? i live in the bay area.

Do you think it is safe on my set up?

thanks

Can you post your map so we can look at it? Maybe it is ignition timing? How are your EGT's?

The flapper is held open using the wastegate only !

i weld the stock FP red flapper shut and use the JGS external WG to control boost. no creep, just solid boost. ask xtremeboost about the part. it is a nice part.

so we are making about the same # besides you are on dom 2 and 93 and i am on red and 91+meth.

do you think we should have been in the 400s whp with a higher pis tune? would you go for a higher psi tune (28 peak 26 at the high rpr) it had been done before without ill effect.

I would think that running on meth you would be able to run safely more than 24psi which would make more hp. The red can be run as high as 35psi I believe so would think 27-28 would still be fine

Here's mine on a Dyna Pack here in Japan. A bone stock X does around 260ps (256hp) on this dyno.
Here's a list of my mods:
Blouch Dominator 2.0
Cosworth MX1 cams
Kakimoto Custom Exhaust (straight 80mm)
UR Metal cat (G/Force metal cat)
HKS EVC 6
AGP Intercooler
AMS Intake
DW800 Injectors

The tune is VERY conservative, AFRs are in the high 10's and boost is only at 24-23psi on 100 RON fuel (95 octane in US).
This is the dyno sheet with the UR metal cat (pinkish purple line) 419.9ps/50.5kg/m (414hp/365 torque). The stock with minor bolt ons and tune is the narrow red line. As you can see, there is quite a bit of turbo lag compared to stock.

This is the dyno sheet with the G/Force metal cat on the exact same tune (yellow line) 451.3ps/57.8kg/m (445hp/418 torque).

Like I mentioned earlier, this dyno does 260ps bone stock and it did 330ps with stock turbo/cams with minor bolt ons and tune.

BTW, your torque seems low and seems to peak at a high RPM. I'm hitting 418 pounds (57.8 kg/m) at 4364 RPM. It may be something you can work out with your Mivec settings.

*Edit* added the ps and torque conversion to hp and standard torque.

You can convert ps to hp using this site and kg/m to standard toque at this site.

I'm confused. If you welded the wastegate flapper shut, then you must be wastegating from the manifold.

So how the heck are you doing that?
