It was a sad day for me..

This morning I got up early to drive my X. You know to hurry up and break in the new clutch. For tomorrows track day event at Laguna Seca.. After driving for about 1hour. My clutch pedal started to feel soggy and weird. After that, the pedal just went in and did not retract out. Yup, my clutch slave cylinder took the $hit on me. It left me stranded on the freeway for almost an hour..
I had enough with all of this crap. Im gonna go back with the stock clutch and flywheel. No more..

Good to hear someone is looking into that, i cant believe no solution has been found. I would love to see a sticky with what clutches have had problems killing the master/slave cylinder.

So the X has had problems with the clutch slave huh? Caused by after market clutches? Weird.

Go with a twin plate clutch, the pressure plate pressure is alot lighter than a heavy duty single clutch so it doesn't put much stress on the master/slave cylinder. I have yet heard of anyone having problems with hydrallic components on the EvoX when using a twin plate.

Hang in there. Can you still get Mitsu to pay for a stock clutch for you?

That's totally brutal. Just when you thought you'd get your X back in time for Laguna.

How would he do that, he broke the part with a after market clutch. You have to pay to play.

And there's a solution for the slave cylinder already, look for post under the name carrito.net he posted a while ago about a solution.
