Yes and we laugh all the way to the bank with an in-house Mustang Dyno AWD-500 that has provided the factual information we needed to make our claim.

On the stock turbo, there are next to no gains from an intake, period.

this thread was just below yours:

your statement would hold true (thus far) if a tune is applied. without a tune it would seem that they do provide certain benefits over others.

and i don't see how you can argue the oem rubber flex hose is better than a solid pipe or a silicone hose.

And if you had read the thread, you would have seen our post here:

AEM uses a rubber intake snorkel, just like stock. There are no benefits.

Pop in a Works drop in and add 2psi boost like the AEM boost hose trickery and you might just be surprised at the results.

funny i missed your post. maybe i wasn't paying attention.

either case, there was no test on a solid pipe yet, so i'll hold my peace for now.

That is kind of what I figured due to the fact that once tuned you move the MAF back to stock parameters and basically taking away the affect of the intake. But I will keep mine since I already got it. And just enjoy the extra turbo spool that I can hear from it.
