Hate to hijack the thread, but i am also wondering about this. Would it be a good idea to get a new DP and weld one of these on? Also if i do go this route weld it on DP, or get a testpipe and weld it there?

The only cutout I'd go with is DMH, 4 year warranty, and trust me, these things break left and right. The motor burning out is number one cause of failure, but if you get the controller with the cutout that usually isn't an issue. It becomes an issue when you close the valve when it's already closed, or open when it's already open, the controller does it perfectly for you so you don't **** the motor up.

He probally means the QTP Exhaust Cutout. I have one on my car that I had welded into my testpipe.
When you flip the switch, it dumps the exhaust at the bottom of your downpipe, so your basically running no exhaust.
When you close the switch, it runs through the rest of your exhaust, so its much quieter.
