can you get a better pic - in focus? its hard to see the damage..
I reckon you should find another dealer - or AT LEAST ring Mitsu HQ and tell them what is going on...
maybe you can get Mitsu HQ to approve taking it to another shop (of your choosing) and if something is wrong then they foot the bill - outside chance maybe

Haha! Thanks for the photography tip although this was with my camera phone and there was bad lighting. I will be doing my own compression test so I will take pics of all the plugs which are 3 months old except #4 which is 4 days old. Need to find the proper adapter for the compression tester. Anyone know what the thread size is on these plugs? 12m.. 10...
if i were you i wouldn't touch the plugs anymore or work on the car yourself. Call HQ and tell them that the car has been in and out of the dealership X amount of times for the same reason and all you are getting is the run around. Tell them that this is the last time before you start the lemon paperwork.
I had the same problem. Took it to the dealership got the run around and decided to take it to an evo shop. When i contacted Mitsubishi corp they with my findings they said that there was nothing they could do now cus a different shop worked on it. i decided to rebuild the car at my own expense instead of getting another crappy engine and fighting them on it. Just play the game they are until it breaks.

The #4 was last time I brought it in. Now I am riding out " the Catalytic Converter had some metal casting come off and bounce around and crush the spark plug" fix. Car seems to have most if not all of its power. It runs good. I still think the turbo fan is damaged a bit. I am supposed to get full paperwork of all the tests that were run next time I go in.

yep...
well maybe you reversed to fast and a stone got into your exhaust... and then made it was all the way to your #4 :P
well I dont think they have much more to blame if the plug gets damaged again...
