AMS Dual Exit Exhaust Released!
Edmunds did a test of the AMS dual tip exhaust about a month ago using a dyno and decibel meter. It compared the dual tip with the single tip exhaust. Enjoy.

you can here mine on this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dG0qs97LP3E if that doesnt work just go to exo x tunning section and look for stock turbo DG motor record and you can then hear it
People aren't complaining, people are expressing their opinions about how they feel about a certain product. its constructive, AMS will see that some people dont like the stock tips and will maybe put out a different style tip in the future. But no one here has bashed AMS for their product. Everyone knows how great a company they are and how well developed their products are.
Yeah there's nothing wrong with constructive criticism from potential buyers. IMO there are three main factors considered (outside of price of course) when purchasing an aftermarket exhaust for most buyers;
-Performance Gains
-Sound
-Appearance
That said it's a head scratcher that AMS would mimic the stock tips. I can understand them going for the sleeper look but when you spend over $1K for an exhaust I would think most would want to show off their investment not hide it.

Who really cares about the look of an exhaust system, if you live in a state which cops love to hound cars for loud exhausts or shiny parts that you will get tickets for.... What cop is going to look at that exhaust and think WOW, this guy has an aftermarket exhaust. As you can see, I love the AMS products and the Crew at AMS.
I completely understand why they went with a stealth tip, I think it's an awesome idea and to add that it's a tuneable exhaust is even better.
If I could have bought a quiet exhaust that didn't restrict the power and it mirrored the stock stuff, I would have bought it in a heartbeat!
I don't love to attraction of angled exhaust tips or big 4 to 5 " tips.... The more stealth the car is the better... especially if want to make your car a sleeper.
Hats off to AMS again for an awesome product....

Clearly, there are a lot of people who do, as they are deciding to purchase other exhausts instead, due to the look.
I am a big fan of ams products, but i agree that for the money spent, it would be nice to have tips that do not look stock. I think it would help boost sales, if AMS did offer another option for tips so people who want the flare, can have it.

That's why a diverse marketplace is good. I don't want to drive around with a pair of giant round tips, so the AMS dual was a good fit. Cobb's quad looked better, but since it's been pushed out until who-know-when, a stock look is a good compromise. Being able to easily pull off the muffler for track days is a great bonus. Mine hasn't arrived yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
AMS sells other products with options, and with tips being so subjective if it was economically feasible to offer another configuration I think they probably would have.

I for one love the stockish look. For the asking price, hell no!
Do you honestly believe that it cost $1100 to build this thing?
$200 build cost at most
$900 goest to AMS brand name
