Was dead set on buying this system but the $1100 price tag just didn't sit to well with me anyway.......ordered a ETS TBE yesterday

 

yea this was not what i expected

1. too much $$ for the name
2. Too quiet
3. Doesnt look all that good
4. tips are hideous
5. Again too much money... Could get any JDM brand for cheeper.


i went with UR instead better bang for the buck and looks and sounds better.

i was really excited for this system to come out, but good thing i didnt have the money at the time. I would have spent months waiting for a system to come out that i think is sub-par when it comes to looks. I am very unsatisfied with the tips and how they turned out. Most people buy an aftermarket exhaust to stray away from a stock looking piece, not to replicate it.
Not a cup of tea thats all.

But, Congrats AMS on a solid piece. Im sure it performs great and the two piece design is very creative.

 

I agree with you. I like just about everything that AMS has made for the X so far. This exhaust, not so much.

 

this exhaust was created during a early frenzy when the evo first came out, it seems really odd now, UR seems best to me.

 

really? why does it seem odd? Nice design, i love the stock looking tips, and its sounds really nice.

 

At that price, i'd rather get the specialty x exhaust
