Test pipe suggestions

I'm looking to maintain my stock appearance/sound while gaining a few hp on the side. From what I've read a test pipe on the stock set up won't make much difference on sound(except hearing your turbo spool a lil more). Has anyone here ran this set up(test pipe on the stock system)? Any input? worth it? Not worth it? Which is the best one to go with on the stock set up?

Thanks everyone.

In california? No way I'd mess with the emissions system. That's a $1k+ ticket isn't it?

Theres literally tons of test pipes, you cant really go wrong but some can be also resonated or mini mufflered (UR)

People have run TP's on stockers for sure.

TP FTW! any brand will net you the same gain if they are a 3 inch.
Just make sure you have one that fits good with nice welds, etc.
Resonated is nice to help with the sound a little bit as well

Get a true 3" Test Pipe and you'll be golden! But since you're in California, OHH mang, if you get caught, you're DONE!!!!!! :X Just don't get REFFed, If you do, you will have to do some work and put some time on your hands to see the REF, which you DO NOT want to do. :X
Check on the forums, you will find plenty of Test Pipes on here for cheap with Quality.

im in CA i have had to go to the reff, and its not a $1000 ticket? i dunno where you heard that. its a fix it ticket. cost me 25 bucks. all you need to do is put your car back to stock. as for test pipes. you can put anyone and expect gains. and with the stock exhaust it wont be much louder. hope that helps
