ETS lower IC piping on a MR

Hello

Last month i ordered a complete ETS ic kit including the upper and lower ic pipings. Now my local dealer told me, that the lower piping won't fit my MR, because the SST gearbox is bigger than the oldschool 5mt gearbox. I cant believe this, because I could swear that i've allready seen pictures of MRs with ETS licp. Also AMS writes on theyr website, that the AMS licp will fith both the GSR an the MR. To me the AMS and the ETS piping look quite similar.

Anybody mounted the ETS licp on his MR? Or may somebody tell me if it will fit or not?

Thank you an greetings from switzerland

Ladedruck,

We build our LICP in a short route setup so it won't clear the SST gear box. We are currently developing another version that will work with the SST Gear Box.

Thanks,

Michael

I've read on these boards the LICP makes zero horsepower. Someone correct me if Im wrong. So why even replace it then?

Our current lower pipe lets you run the stock air box, but only for the GSR at this point. The lower pipe doesn't have any real gain. The lower pipe will be good for increasing the durability and longevity by removing the stock rubber pieces that will become worn and brittle over time. It also adds a nice cosmetic appearance as well =)

Thanks,

Michael

We do this on regular! Give me a call at 360-263-3748 and I can get a meth bung added for you. The price is $15.00 a bung. I just need you to tell me where you want it.

Thanks,

Michael
