AMS Master Cylinder ring o-ring install help

Howz it guys...

just wondering if anyone istalled this piece yet. My mechanic wants to know where exactly does the o-ring that comes with the kit goes.

AMS instructions states "7) Then put the o-ring on the top of the AMS reinforcement ring and put the master cylinder back on the clutch pedal assembly. (The factory rubber washer does not get used)."

Basically the yellow arrow is where my mechanic placed the oring because it seems to fit perfectly but as we try reinstalling it with the oring on either side its hard to get back in...

any tips wold be appretiated I would call ams directly but beng that its labor day im sure they are closed.

in advance thanks guys and sorry if the answer is obvious just wana make sure we get it right

thanks

You have it in the right place, it sits in that groove on the edge to help keep the master cylinder in place.
