110 octane?

I'm heading to the local dragstrip with a new setup which includes AMS cold air intake, AMS MBC, AMS tune, shifter bushings and Trans bushings.
I'm thinking about running 110 octane race gas. Has anyone done this on a pretty much stock setup? Will this b ok? Or am i looking at too much?

YES I'VE Searched Already!

It'll hurt you if you're not adjusting your timing for it.

if you are not tunned for it be very carefull, iam gesing you are tunned by AMS with a pump gas tune and not for 110

you could raise the boost a couple pounds 2 or 3 but then again you are not adjusting any other parameters in the ecu like timing, mivec you wont get the full advantage you would if tunned.

if you ran 110 as you are tunned not all you will be doing is hurting your self because you will be runing pig rich because of going from a 93 oct to a 110 oct

running to rich is bad running to lean is bad,,,, tune the car with 2 maps and be done with it

If you have a cat, the lead will damage it very quickly. I've seen Evos (on stock cats) run race gas for only one tank and would then throw trouble codes even with the cat still installed.

If you are catless- No, race gas won't hurt your car, but it also won't gain any power without additional tuning. My advice is to leave it exactly as AMS tuned it and run it with 93 octane.

Edit: Is the car untuned? Dude, get it tuned, and it will be quick at the track.
An MBC on stock timing values is a really bad idea. The fueling needs to be addressed as well.

Why would you run race gas when you're not tuned for it? Just run premium and be done with it.
