Is it me or do any of your evo Xs have a loud turbo whine in the morning? The whine goes away after a few miles of driving it.

Should I be worried?

ha yea i hear the same thing. i have an hks panel filter and intercooler hoses. should be fine

 

Mine started today too, but it seems to be over 10 psi or so; It's pretty audible now, but I've already had my filter for a month.

 

I just noticed this noise about a week ago. Predominantly in 3rd or 4th gear at low boost, <10psi, there will be a faint whine for a split second. It just started getting colder outside, so could that be it? Yet I didn't hear it all last winter so idk.

i started noticing it this morning too, but the only time i hear it is when i go thru the gears first thing in the morning, and that would be it for the whole day.
