Yeah, the awesome purple gloves give you the might to break those bolts loose . I only went through like 10 pair haha, time to invest in some mechanics gloves.

Take the bar off before jacking it up and replace the 14mm nuts to keep this from happening.

That's how long it takes if you know your way around cars, have a lift, etc. For an average Joe working on a set of ramps, it's about twice as long. I had to stop a few times just to give bolts dirty looks.

Quick question, In my void of a head I forgot to remove the tower bar before jacking up my car, when I removed the bar (not thinking about how the struts were supported by those nuts ), the wheel dropped about 5 inches accompanied by a rather loud bang, how likely is it that I damaged something?

very very small. the sensor and brake lines are secured to the base of the strut rather well and would take some intentional effort to cause damage. i just installed some coilovers so its nice and fresh in my head. the bang was either the top of your strut hitting the side of the inner tire wall area (very likely) or your swaybar shifting (unlikely).

Yeah I figured, I mean everything down there is very sturdy, loud noises just of course make you stop and
