Could be overboosting or misfiring.

If I was overboosting I would throw a code correct? My car backfires like crazy when I let off the throttle, which could hint to misfiring, I really should pull those plugs, but I am a little tied up with school and stuff right now. I'm installing a boost gauge in about a week so I'll check on the peak of boost. When I got my car tuned I did a few pulls on the way home and noticed a loud pstt noise at high boost levels, and I checked my I/C piping and the LICP was loose, it could be possible that it was loose during the tune and therefore my tuner tuned the boost up higher to account for the leak, and now it is overboosting. I wont know untill next week, I will pull my plugs, and check the boost. I'll keep you guys updated.

If it was a hesitation and then continued I would swap out the fuel pump relay. Sounds like what was happening to me.

I was thinking the same thing. This is what the local evo guru told me when I asked about the relay "they run into a lean miss, you would feel it ..kinda like it is running out of gas...."

yea i noticed mine during a tune. When I punched it it hesitated like the clutch was slipping but there was no increase in RPMs. My first thought was spark plugs and I replaced them, but then when the issue was still apparent I replaced the relay and all was good in the hood (or under the hood!)

Pick it up if you have 20 bucks to spare. There is a how to on checking the functionality of your current one if you are hesitant to swap it out without a valid cause.
