new intercooler problems

Well i need help and im new to this stuff. I have a x with a catback and a access port i just installed a ETS 4" intercooler and everything is extreamly tight i made sure of that but now my idol is very low at start up drobing to 500 rpm or a little lower and when it does this it throws these codes and goes into some kind of limp mode

p1238 MAF plausibility
p0122 throttle position sensor/switch a circut low input
p1233 throtle pos. sensor(main) plausibility
p1241 torque monitor
p1235 Maf sensor plausibility

If i keep the rmp up to say 1000 for a minute or 2 when i let it idol down it stays in its normal range and seems to run fine. If anyone has any ideas or has run into this some help would be great. Is this a symptom of a boost leak?

Did you try resetting the ECU ? Will be be the car was on ignition while you install the components ?

You put your BOV on backwards/it's piped incorrectly.

Or you dicked up your MAF.

If you're idling funky then you've got some issue in the piping around the MAF and BOV. Go double and triple check those things.

Those codes are all related to the BOV/MAF (assuming no map changes).

These codes all have to do with excessive airflow your torque limit tables have to be adjusted

So this idling problem is tuning related? I was under the impression that minor bolt ons wouldnt need a reflash.

I installed my ETS 4.0 intercooler and UICP/LICP. I also have a K&N intake, GFB VTA BOV, and Perrin cat back exhaust.

I installed my intercooler over a friends, totally forgot to pull the battery power. I drove home on it, and have been driving on it for the last 2 weeks problem free (still havent reset the ECU). I dont think adding the intercooler caused your problem.

I agree, check and make sure your BOV is tight.

while the car is idling listen for leaks. see if maybe one of your seals might not be tight. Make sure, if you installed the LICP that you didnt kink the return path from the BOV or the tube heading to the throttle body.

adding the mods you have does not require tuning.

An fmic certainly wouldn't but the errors suggest that an intake was installed...the MAF is giving out of spec readings for whatever reason.
