Which LICP clears stock air box

Hi, sorry if this has been asked before, I did some searching but did not find answers. I was wondering which brand of LICP will clear box type intakes (stock, AEM, ARC)
I have the ARC induction box on car and I don't want to buy a LICP and then find out they can't go together. I know the Buschur one won't fit.

vendors feel free to chime in.

Thanks

my t1r intercooler pipes came with licp that replaced rubber portion going to the throttle body. No problems fitting the stock airbox

Ultimate Racing will. I run one with an AEM box.

Is there much performance gain to be had from an aftermarket LICP? I thought the stocker flowed pretty well.

Stock LICP is fine, unless you care that much about a pipe that you will never see and will never show to anyone, save yourself the 250$

its just that I am getting a bigger IC, and thinking I might need hard piping instead of rubber

ETS's LICP clears it fine. Increased throttle response too

Have you seen the stock LICP? It's mostly a hard pipe... most aftermarket versions only take off a few inches of coupler where it connects to the TB. Other than that, they tend to eliminate the bracket that would normally connect to the stock air box bracket, so those are the only two differences you'll find in most... and the only other difference you'll see with a select few (ie AMS) is an added coupler because the pipe will now be 2-piece instead of 1 (at least current design is that way).

Doesn’t the OEM LICP have a 1 foot rubber section where it makes its way from the bottom of the engine bay up to the throttle body? (as seen in the picture below) From the aftermarket LICPs I have seen, this is all replaced by hard pipe (second picture below) so I don’t know why it wouldn’t help when replacing the UICPs balloon section helps..

By replacing both the OEM UICP and LICP you are getting rid of all the balloon pipes which expand under boost and take away from the throttle response. I would say if you are going to do the UICP it would seem pointless not to do the LICP as well..

thanks for the input guys.

To my understanding, the LICP has less balloon effect is due to the hot air from the UICP (hot, making rubber balloon) is already cooled by the intercooler, so the air that is passing through the LICP is not as hot and won't affected the LICP's rubber piece as much as the UICP. But, upgrading the a metal UICP and larger intercooler may push more volume of air into the LICP than stock setting, expaning/balloon the LICP's rubber part. not hundred percent sure on this....

The air temp would have minimal effect on this, it is still going to balloon up just like the UICP and just going on the picture above, it looks like the LICP has pretty close to the same length of rubber tubing as the UICP so it will be doing the same thing. It won’t balloon up more if you just have the UICP, but it will still balloon since you are going to be running the same PSI if not more if you get the car tuned.

I also suggest Ultimate Racing for the charge pipes, even their intercooler. My buddy has everything from them (turbo back exhaust, intercooler and UICP/LICP) and everything is top quality stuff and he has never had an issue with any part from them. Not only that but the price of their intercooler pipes is cheaper than most companies and yet they use Stainless Steel, not Aluminum. And I know their LICP will clear the stock air box since he still has his stock intake

Ultimate Racing
UICP - $170
LICP - $195

I would post a link but I am not sure if they are a vendor on here

With the replacement of the lower intercooler pipe you will see an increase in throttle response and power just because you can't see it doesn't mean it serves no purpose...
