Gears won't go in

Well tonight i was driving my car and my gears wouldn't go in, i just changed the clutch not to long ago. The gears go in when the car isn't on, and i have no idea what it is.

I bet you installed the new TOB incorrectly or backwards...

Before you take the trans off again, does the slave cylinder move at all when the clutch pedal is depressed?

Oh, december was a while ago; you should've added that in the first post. Was the car doing fine from december until now? How does the pedal feel?

If you can get into gear with the car off but not the car on, your clutch is dragging. You need to rebuild/replace your clutch. In the VIII and IX there is a clutch adjustment pedal which can help a little, but not by much.

Could be an internal leak in the clutch master. If that were the case I don't think it would affect brake fluid levels.

When the engine is spinning you need the clutch to engage a gear. When it isn't you don't need the clutch. If the clutch master is leaking whether it be internal or external it wouldn't allow you to engage the clutch.

the car was running fine until now, the clutch pedal feels normal still. i've heard that i just might need to adjust my clutch pedal. master cylinder doesn't look like its leaking and brakes still work.

There's no clutch pedal adjustment on the X.

When you have the car off and are switching through the gears does it actually go into gear?
