*video*Clicking sound from turbo area

I started getting this sound some time last month and due to the aftermarket partsinstalled unable to go to the dealer without removing everything.
I start getting this sound once the car is hot and it seem to go away once the car is at idle for about 5mins. So I was thinking it could be the heat shield but it also goes away when the car is turn off .
The turbo is holding boost fine (just check it with my AP), the car is driving fine, and the sound doesn't happen all the time.

Any ideas???

I was planning on getting the AMS downpipe, but due to this I am at a all stop on mods.

*edited*: I replaced the downpipe this weekend with the AMS downpipe. I looked everywhere and thighten everything that I could see and couldn't pin point where this noise is coming from. Took it to the dealer last week and they tried telling me that having a hi-flow exhaust will cause less back pressure causing a clicking noise. All I could say to the tech was WOW and took my car. Any ideas??? I also noticed that the noise starts when the engine is warm. When it is cold no clicking noise.

thanks,

Jose

Sounds like a loose exhaust manifold heat shield to me. It's not very difficult to remove so I would suggest removing it to see if it still makes that sound.

I hope this is what it is, . This weekend I am going to remove the shield and drive the car over the weekend and see what happens. But I am not sure if this is problem since a tried shaking it by hand and no noise. The thing that bugs me the most is that it only happens when the car is warm.

I have been having bad luck with my car. First the random shut-off problem(that fixed itself) and now this.

Do you have stock exhaust?
It sounds like a piece of sheet metal (like the guards found on the exhaust, if its like my Ralliart) has come loose and is ticking against the piping.

after I installed my 800cc injectors, I noticed a clicking noise also, kinda diesel sounding. I tried fooling around with the same heat shield but to no avail, I have not been able to rid myself of the clicking noise. It is ok to remove that heat shield? I too am going to AMS for a dyno tune at the end of the month. I am hoping they might be able to give me some insight.

The only exhaust part that is still stock is my downpipe and 02 pipe. Which I was going to replace this month but this noise showed up.

This is normal I believe. My friend has a GSR which he installed 1000cc injectors with fuel rail and he said it sounds like a diesel now also.

What do you mean by exhaust issue? Are you talking about the exhaust heat shield or something else?

in the video i hear two different clickin sounds, one of them sounds like an injector pulse(louder and sounds more consistent) the other one i also hear in the background where it increases in sound but with a different pattern that repeats itself. so we talkin about the louder consistent noise or the pattern noise?
